How does the receipt scanning work?+
You take a photo and AI reads every line item, the tax, and the totals. You can fix any line before sharing, and the host can correct items later without losing anyone's claims.
How are tax and tip split?+
Proportionally to what each person ordered — someone who had a $30 entrée pays more of the tip than someone who had a $6 side. Shares always reconcile to the exact bill total, to the penny.
How do people pay their share?+
One tap opens Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Cash with the exact amount pre-filled. Everyone can mark themselves settled so the host sees who has paid.
Do my friends need the app or an account?+
No. They open your link (or scan the QR code at the table), tap what they ordered, and pay. The first tap just asks for their name.
